Gwen and Isaac were busy today putting away some sweet and some bread and butter pickles. As the summer goes along we hope to do a lot more canning. Not only is a great learning experience for children, but it also can save money in the long run. Besides that there is something fulfilling about eating what one has worked to make.

Hey! Looks like Steve is the blogger... and I don't think I ever had the opportunity to meet you. (I met your brother Phil while he was interning with my bro Andy). Gwen knows who I am tho. Our families have known each other almost forever, and then she was one of my students when I taught at PVBI. :) I loved seeing the family/wedding photos. Great to find ya'll out here.
