Last evening we had the privilege of
going to hear Piet Smit sing and play his guitar here in Ladybrand. What a blessed evening. Piet Smit is one of the few artists that I
know of whose demeanor is one of humility and selflessness. There is absolutely no show! His singing is completely God-centered! Last
evening through his songs and speaking we traveled with him through the Bible
from Genesis to Revelations. He began
with God, creation and the fall and ended with the second coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ! We felt as if we were
being transported into the presence of God as he spoke and sang about Isaiah’s
vision of God’s holiness! God bless Piet Smit!
